So I had a bride contact me this past week and she told me that she wanted me to do her wedding.... I gave her a round about price to which she asked if it included video? I told her it did not but I'd be willing to find some videographers for her to choose from and I would call her this weekend with my final price and some numbers for the videographers...... This is were I loose.... I just got off the phone..... Her phone is no longer in service!!!!!!! How can this happen!? Anyway I lament this loss because now I've done all this work and have nothing to show for it..... C’est la vie.

Well sir, don't give up. Like Pastor Joe said... Maybe she will visit your blog and find out how sad you look in all your SP's and want to book you after all. Nothing that you do is wasted, you'll still be able to use the info that you collected for future weddings and such. So, cheer up!
Anyway, what's with all the recent SP's??? lol! You're funny about those. ;)
True friends..... ahhh.... Thank you Pastor and Abby, I do feel better about the whole thing now... LOL To be honest I'm not as sad as I look because as Abby so rightly put it I can still use the info that I accrued for future use.... I don't give up that easily and the whole point of this post is to get her to call me again if that be her wish....
Abby I have been playing with the photobooth funness on my sister's 'puter so that's the reason for all the SPs (as they forever will be called from now on) and I'm trying to amend my ways.... Though I frown upon SPs I see more of their use and enjoyment now having done some..... This is not to say that I'm totally reformed..... Nay, nay my good friend, I shall stick to my guns as long as there is someone else to take the picture I'll opt for that. By the time you get this I'll have posted some of my recent installments on facebook if you care to take a look... :-P

Like Abby said... the very first real wedding inquiry I got never came through but it got me moving and I got a website up in a day so I was prepared for the business to then come in! It was wonderful!
btw...what in the WORLD are SP's?? lol! I'm Soo lost! haha!

There is that element of raw talent though. I really think God gave you a good eye for photography. Some of my favorite shots from our wedding I know were taken by you (judging from the direction/angle in relation to where you were). Release that lump to Jesus. He orchestrated our wedding and one of the treasures He brought to the table was having a second photographer - and He picked you with the gear you had - so you can't downplay anything you did. Remember, humility is not about talking yourself down, its about glorifying God - remember what Glory is from Wildwater? Think about it.
