so this is pretty much what my life has come to.... shooting salt... That's right I took these just before the weather broke and I was so sick of not shooting that I just saw the opportunity and took it. I'm trying to catch up on shooting and posting so please bear with me. I have a few cool things that I'm hoping to post in the next week or so so check back and leave a comment...

LONG overdue!!!!

So I just started working again after about a three month break so that's my excuse for neglecting my poor blog but I just can't take it any more! I just had to share some of these pics with my adoring fans (as if).... anyway I did this engagement party for some friends and I think the shots came out pretty good so here you go....

Birthdays are great!

Yesterday I just had my 26th birthday. I didn't do anything special but I did have a good time doing what I did.... LOL I kinda just lazed around the house all day. I did talk to Abby Smith via video chat (video chat is totally cool!) then read my book some and took a "cat nap". As I was "napping" I was listening to my new favorite CD and thinking/praying about the new MacBook Pro and whether or not I would get one. I called one of my pastors to pray about this and see what the Lord might want me to do in this situation and we concluded that I really need to hear God in this. And when I do hear God about it, I'll have no doubts about what I'm supposed to do. I prayed with another friend about it and then talked to Abby again while checking my e-mail. My family and I ordered pizza and watched a movie. A very pleasant day over all.

Lunch...

So I was shopping at Sam's Club the other day for my mom and I walked by this freezer thing full of crab legs.... I was talking to my mom on the phone at the time and just kinda kiddingly suggested I buy some... to this she said "if you buy them I'll cook them for you". Seriously, how can you pass that up?? I mean I've never tried real crab before and my mom offers to cook it for me??? I'm there!!! I bought just under 3lb (one bag) for $37 and proudly brought them home... Saturday my mom suggests that she cook them for my lunch, to this I agree and that is the reason for this post :-P I really hope you get to try something that you never have before because you never know you might just like what you try but you'll never know until you try (and that's the truth). Oh and by the way I LOVE crab legs!!!!!!!!!

This is my cousin Melissa and her boyfriend Matt. I just wanted to do this post to honor her because she is in the Navy and is shipping off to Japan for three years.... Needless to say we are proud of her and bless her on her journey...

I loose

So I had a bride contact me this past week and she told me that she wanted me to do her wedding.... I gave her a round about price to which she asked if it included video? I told her it did not but I'd be willing to find some videographers for her to choose from and I would call her this weekend with my final price and some numbers for the videographers...... This is were I loose.... I just got off the phone..... Her phone is no longer in service!!!!!!! How can this happen!? Anyway I lament this loss because now I've done all this work and have nothing to show for it..... C’est la vie.
