Sam's House....

Last night I went to my friend Sam's house just to chill and watch a movie (The Great Outdoors: John Candy, Dan Aykroyd). I bought some new toys for my business so I brought my camera as well and took a few pictures of Sam and just some shooting around the house....

Here are some of what I got.... (the last one is of my friend Dave who was eating and didn't want his picture taken)

Bushka Bash!

I went to my cousin Jenny's Labor Day BBQ/Housewarming Party this past weekend. Jenny just moved into a really sweet two flat! She used to live on the 5th floor of a huge (kinda dumpy) apartment complex, so moving to the ground floor of a two flat is quite the improvement and on top of that the price difference is much less than expected. All in all it was a great move and the place she lives now it totally rockin'. Anyway I took some pics of the fam and stuff while at the party; more or less just to have an excuse to use my new favorite program Lightroom!!!! (which I totally love and think that every photographer should learn to use.... just fyi ;-)

Lamboree!

So I went up north to the northwoods of Wisconsin a couple weeks ago for a church retreat and though I was only there for a total of 36 hours I took a few pictures of the things that I was involved with (though I confess I didn't shoot as much as I could've much to my relaxation :-). We had a different theme each day and the day's theme I was on was "Texas" so we had some fun things for the kids to do (and I think we had about as much fun as they did if not more!) Anyway we had them make "Texas Tees" and do some other fun stuff like riding a horse (Starbuck), and panning for gold, and other general funness like a dunktank!

My Poor Sad Neglected Blog...

I'm so sorry for those who actually do take interest in my sorry little excuse for a blog..... I've been so bad with the posting these days. It's just that (if I can give it an excuse) that I've been really busy and haven't made the time to update my postings but there is still hope and there is even a bit of good news.... I'm getting some work done now that I bought my own computer and am going to be posting more often. So I'll look forward to your comments...
