I went to my cousin Jenny's Labor Day BBQ/Housewarming Party this past weekend. Jenny just moved into a really sweet two flat! She used to live on the 5th floor of a huge (kinda dumpy) apartment complex, so moving to the ground floor of a two flat is quite the improvement and on top of that the price difference is much less than expected. All in all it was a great move and the place she lives now it totally rockin'. Anyway I took some pics of the fam and stuff while at the party; more or less just to have an excuse to use my new favorite program Lightroom!!!! (which I totally love and think that every photographer should learn to use.... just fyi ;-)
So I went up north to the northwoods of Wisconsin a couple weeks ago for a church retreat and though I was only there for a total of 36 hours I took a few pictures of the things that I was involved with (though I confess I didn't shoot as much as I could've much to my relaxation :-). We had a different theme each day and the day's theme I was on was "Texas" so we had some fun things for the kids to do (and I think we had about as much fun as they did if not more!) Anyway we had them make "Texas Tees" and do some other fun stuff like riding a horse (Starbuck), and panning for gold, and other general funness like a dunktank!
I'm so sorry for those who actually do take interest in my sorry little excuse for a blog..... I've been so bad with the posting these days. It's just that (if I can give it an excuse) that I've been really busy and haven't made the time to update my postings but there is still hope and there is even a bit of good news.... I'm getting some work done now that I bought my own computer and am going to be posting more often. So I'll look forward to your comments...

PS Just so you know if you are going to comment that I've had to moderate my comments because of some dorks that have been trying to advertise on my blog!!! UGH!!! the nerve!!! Anyway so if you don't see your comment pop up that's the reason...
America the beautiful.... Land that I love.... We live in the best country in the world and yet we complain so much... I'm just saying thanks to God for our great country and the privileges we share... Just some things to think about
Latley I've been thinking about widows and orphans like the Bible says to take care of... It's always been the desire of my heart to adopt one child at least but most likly I'd like to have a few and one of those (again at least) would be special needs (ie. downs syndrom or autism or etc...). Given this fact... things like this video really touch me deep down.
This here fun little set of pics is the result of Sarah Barlow inviting me to her brother's senior photoshoot. I totally just had a blast at this shoot.... It's always a pleasure to shoot with the famous Sarah Barlow but this time Sarah has her first intern of the year, Cait which made it all the more fun..... Sarah Chelleppa was there with her brother Steve so all in all there were 5 shooters for this shin-dig and if that doesn't get you some good shots then I don't know what will. This was a total funtastical time and I can't wait to do it again.... Seriously every photoshoot should be this AWESOME!!! Thanks Sarah for inviting me :-)
Here are some of the shots I came up with....

I'm a simple man with a simple plan.... To serve Jesus Christ with my whole heart for the rest of my days..... I LOVE Photography and God has gifted me in it so I can serve people. I want to leave a legacy of righteousness in business (and life in general) for future generations. I strive to give people all that they expect in a photographer and WAY WAY more! I want to truly "show" people Jesus through the way I serve and I ask for His grace to do it.
Thanks for visiting my site :-)
Feel free to contact me withany questions about anything (prices, services or just me!).I'd be more than happy to accommodate you. I love to talk to people so the worst that could happen is you not asking and as a result, me not being able to help you. :-(
So don't be a "stick-in-the-mud" and just ask whatever pops in your head.
