Baby Steps

Baby steps to getting a photography business started...... Baby steps to getting business for the photography business....... I'm baby steppin' and I'm doin' the work..... I'm not a slacker...... and it's all finally coming together (even though it's coming slower than I hoped and planned).... This (I'll have you know) is the first engagement shoot I've done on my own(more's the pity, I say) and I'm proud to say I love the pictures that came out of it!!! Todd and Shaina are two friends that I've known for some time now and If you were to ask me I would've never in my wildest dreams put them together as a couple (well maybe in my WILDEST but totally not in any normal dreams) ;-P It's a good thing I'm not in charge of that department because God in His amazing wisdom has indeed put them together, and I'm so happy that He did because they complement each other in every way, and they are so cute together, and caring.... and they're my friends so I'm just happy for them (what else can I say)! I was totally honored when they asked me to do the photography for their special day that I didn't know how to respond at first, so I just said I'll pray about it and we'll see what God says....... Well He approves so I'll be shooting they're wedding on the 27th of December!! I'm so excited for them that I can hardly believe there's only one month to go!!!!

2 Weeks

Two weeks ago to the day (well tonight) I cut my hand. At about midnight. So this is an anniversary of sorts for me.... Sorry this is such a short post but I got to get to Church. :-)

Cutting the Flesh

So this is the update on my hand... All is going good and the doc says I can return to full on hard core work in about a week but for now I'll just have to live with light duty :-(

So I went camping again

I'm not posting

These pics are why I'm not posting as much as I want at the moment.... In fact I can't even work so I'll be out of it for a while. Let me just say don't try to carve a peice of wood while it's still in your hand..... (Yah it wasn't a smart move thanks) Don't point a knife toward yourself and NEVER cut anything in the direction of your body or body parts. Take it from me.... :-(

Here are some pics from this past weekend's camping accident.... One buck knife + lots of stupid = Nine stiches, six and half hours in the hospital, no work for at least 10 days and high emergency room bills..... Definitely not PRICELESS!!!!

So much to blog about...... So little time :-(

Truly I just can't keep up with all the things I need to blog about. There is so much going on in my life right now that I can't even catch up with the things I need to do like cleaning my room and going to get the things I need for everyday life.... It's just crazy! For instance I worked 36 hours in the last three days... That along with church meetings I need to go to, and just random everyday stuff I can't seem to make the time to post something cool (not that I could but you know what I mean). It kinda gets to me after a while (especially when I have cool things or at least things that should have been posted a long time ago to post). Basically I'm just rambling with no good reason to keep talking except to keep your attention to what I'm saying. Which is not anything important; like I said. We're such suckers aren't we.... we keep reading thinking that there's more info or something that might have significance all to find out this joker is just writing about nothing and I'm stuck here reading it!! It's frustrating.... I know. LOL!

Anyway I do want to post these... They are a couple of pics I snagged while on a job site at work, enjoy...
